The shape of Beyonce's dress is

wonderful; however, the colors and

pattern don't really work together.

Evan Rachel Wood

This dress took the whole mermaid theme

a little too far! The combination of feathers,

scales and sequins is a bit much for just one

dress! But, I have to say that this color looks

amazing on her!

Mermaid Week: Hair!

When I think of a mermaid's hair I think of loose waves swept to the side and braids! Here is two looks that incorporate both! enjoy :)

For this look I used the Remington Curling Wand (pictured below) and made the curls more loose by brushing them out! Then, I braided my bangs and pinned them to the side for a more polished look!

Fishtail braids are perfect for summer...and mermaids! The name even reminds me of a mermaid (since they have the tail of a fish!) It takes a little longer than a normal braid and works best with long hair, but still looks great on everybody!
